New Church Paper Illustration

This is a new illustration for the church paper of Young Adult group.

I used Painter and finished with Adobe Photoshop.

Logo Illustration and Design

Recently, I did a logo design for the new Japanese bakery; Panya And.This is located at 3rd avenue and 9th street. This bakery is now renovating, so this will be open soon. They are going to use the logo for their t-shirt, stickers for their products, and their paper cups.I am very happy with this work.

I imaged some stamp feeling on the type design. Also, I was trying to show the images of homemade bread and warm atmosphere with the handwritten type.I illustrated a small character next to the handwritten type to show a welcome smile..:-)

I have to use very limited color because of the cost which they reproduce the logo.

However I really had fun.

Senior show is opened.

These are my paintings. 

The show ends on next Tuesday, May 19th.

Senior Show

These images are the project for my mentor in this semester.

The background was yellow at first, but I thought the yellow background kills the main characters which is a bear and a baby. My mentor agreed it, so I decided to change the color brighter. 

Actually, it was a small challenge for me; changing the background color after finished the main figure. It was really detail and hard, but I was really having fun. And I think it worked well.

It came out pinkish in this picture, but it is whiter, I think.

This painting was selected by the FIT Senior Show which is held in this May. My other painting was selected, too.

The other painting is the continuation of this bear series; A snapper with a small baby.

I am so happy because the two paintings which is selected by the show are the exactly what I want to do.

The Senior Show will open on Thurday, May 7th(6 to 8pm; Opening) and end on May 19th, 2009.

Fashion Institute of Technology in located in 7th Ave and 27th Street, and you can find FIT Museum/Gallery.

business card

I made my roommate's business card today. She is a professional make up artist.

This is my first time to design and illustrate other's business card, but it was very fun.

I found an image of a pretty model, and draw it. Since the business card needs small image, it doesn't take that much time, but it took a long time to create a concept.

Fashion illustration is not my main illustration, but it is fun for me, too.

I wanted to make it very simple and pretty so that people want to keep it with them.
